About AbbyBank in Abbotsford
Since 1968, AbbyBank has proudly served Central Wisconsin at the junction of Highways 29 and 13 in Abbotsford, a small city located in both Clark and Marathon Counties. Formerly known as Abbotsford State Bank, our Abbotsford location was the first branch AbbyBank opened. This location has three drive-thru lanes, an ATM on location, and a walk-up area in addition to our lobby for customers to do banking transactions. Our Abbotsford location still remains as AbbyBank's headquarters and houses over 50 employees, including many associates who have been with AbbyBank for more than 15 years. Most of our customer support team and many of our executive team members are located here as well.
Abbotsford's nickname of "Wisconsin's First City" comes from its place on an alphabetical list of Wisconsin cities. Today, Abbotsford has a population of approximately 2,200 people and is home to softball and baseball diamonds, parks, a library and the Abbotsford School District. From its railroad history, to being known for its annual Christmas Parade and the huge ice cream cone statue at a local dairy store, Abbotsford is a community rich in heritage. Our agricultural roots run deep as some of our founding shareholders were farmers in Clark County, Marathon County, and nearby areas. In addition, Abbotsford has a large, culturally diverse customer base which is one of the reasons we even have a hitching post in our parking lot.
It's All About Our Community
Through AbbyBank's community involvement and our AbbyBank Charitable Foundation, we contribute to many local community projects. AbbyBank positively impacts the Abbotsford area through multiple sponsorships, donations and employee volunteer time. Some of the events and organizations we support in the area include:
