AbbyBank Supports Youth, Fights Hunger in Shawano

AbbyBank recently participated in the Shawano County Fair’s market animal sale to support local youth and give back to the community. Mike Morse, Vice President/Commercial Loan Officer at AbbyBank, was the winning bidder of a hog during the auction.

After processing, AbbyBank donated half of the pork to the Shawano Area Food Pantry and Resource Center (SAFPARC) and the other half to the Shepherd’s Watch Community Center Food Pantry in Mattoon. Both organizations provide critical support to individuals and families facing food insecurity.

“Supporting our local youth through the fair auction while also being able to give back to our community food pantries is a win-win,” said Mike Morse.

AbbyBank remains committed to supporting local agriculture, youth programs, and community resources that help strengthen the Shawano area and beyond.
