AbbyBank Foundation Supports Local Organizations in Shawano WI Area

The AbbyBank Foundation, Inc. is proud to support organizations that make a lasting impact in Shawano and the surrounding communities. Two recent grant recipients—Shawano Area United Way and Down with Mylestones—demonstrate how local collaboration can uplift and strengthen our region.

Supporting Connection, Education, and Inclusion in Shawano Area

Shawano Area United Way received $2,020 from the AbbyBank Foundation to purchase laptops, wireless mice, and a printer. These essential tools will support the organization’s continued efforts to improve lives through education, financial stability, and health. One laptop will be dedicated to the Snuggled with a Hug Diaper Bank, and the remaining two laptops will be used seasonally for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program and other community initiatives. The upgraded equipment will allow the team to work more efficiently and expand their positive impact.

Down with Mylestones was awarded $1,500 to support the development of an all-inclusive playground at Olen Park in Clintonville. The playground will offer a safe and accessible space where children of all abilities can play, explore, and enjoy the outdoors together. This project reflects Down with Mylestones’ mission to create a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all families in the community.
