Supporting Local Growth Through Community Grants
The AbbyBank Foundation, Inc. recently awarded a total of $8,000 in grants to three Medford-area organizations during its fall 2025 grant cycle. Huey’s Hideaway Children’s Museum, United Way of Taylor County, and the Medford VFW Post 5729 each received funding to support projects that strengthen the community and improve local resources.
Huey’s Hideaway Children’s Museum received a $2,000 grant to support the development of a new exhibit that encourages hands-on, educational, and imaginative learning experiences for children and families. The museum continues to serve as a valuable community resource that promotes curiosity, exploration, and play-based learning for children of all ages.
The United Way of Taylor County was awarded $1,000 to purchase a new multi-function printer, enhancing its daily operations and communication with donors and partner agencies. The new equipment will allow the organization to operate more efficiently and direct more funding toward programs that make a local impact.
The Medford VFW Post 5729 received $5,000 to support the construction of a new clubhouse. The improved facility will provide an accessible and welcoming space for veterans, their families, and community members to gather, honor service members, and host local events.
