AbbyBank Foundation Awards $1,500 to Shawano County Sheriff's Office
The AbbyBank Foundation, Inc. is pleased to announce a $1,500 grant awarded to the Shawano County Sheriff's Office to help fund the replacement of a pontoon boat motor used by the Shawano County Dive Team during water rescue and recovery operations.
The Shawano County Dive Team provides essential water rescue and recovery services throughout Shawano and Menominee Counties. Led by the Shawano County Sheriff's Office, the team brings together personnel from multiple law enforcement agencies and local fire departments to respond to emergencies on area lakes, rivers and waterways.
Having dependable equipment is essential for first responders, especially when every moment matters. The AbbyBank Foundation is proud to support the Shawano County Dive Team and its partner agencies in their efforts to maintain the resources needed to respond safely and effectively to water emergencies throughout Shawano and Menominee Counties.
AbbyBank Awards $3,000 to Wolf River Lutheran High School
The AbbyBank Foundation, Inc. is pleased to announce a $3,000 grant awarded to Wolf River Lutheran High School to support the purchase of standing desks and stools, providing students with more flexible classroom seating options.
The new furniture will allow students to alternate between sitting and standing throughout the school day, creating a learning environment that better accommodates different learning styles and individual needs. The standing desks will also provide practical benefits for classroom activities, such as art projects and other hands-on learning experiences that may be better suited to a standing position.
The AbbyBank Foundation was formed in 1986 as a private charitable foundation of AbbyBank, which has contributed over $1,922,300 to the foundation. Since 1986, the foundation has made donations to Abbotsford, Appleton, Green Bay, Gresham, Medford, Shawano, Wausau, Weston, Withee and neighboring area organizations totaling over $1,498,980.91
