Strengthening Community Care in the Appleton Area
The AbbyBank Foundation, Inc. recently awarded grants to two organizations serving the Appleton area during its Spring 2026 grant cycle. These projects support improved patient care experiences and expanded community resources for individuals with disabilities and their families throughout Outagamie County and surrounding communities.
Funding was awarded to:
Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin Foundation – $1,000 to purchase a Zono sanitizing cabinet, which disinfects books, toys, electronics, and medical dolls in just 30 minutes. The automated system will provide faster and more thorough cleaning than manual methods, allowing Child Life staff and nurses to spend more time supporting patients and families.
Easterseals Wisconsin HelpLine of Outagamie County – $1,500 to support the purchase and service of a new copier to improve program efficiency and better serve individuals with disabilities and their families. The HelpLine provides essential services including resource assistance, guardian support, equipment loans and grants, and inclusive recreational opportunities. In 2024-2025, Easterseals Wisconsin assisted 1,760 individuals in Outagamie County.

Since 1986, the foundation has made donations to Abbotsford, Appleton, Green Bay, Gresham, Medford, Shawano, Wausau, Weston, Withee, and neighboring area organizations totaling over $1,498,980.91.
