AbbyBank Donates 168 Pounds of Pork to Stepping Stones Through Taylor County Fair Animal Market Sale

Medford, WI – AbbyBank is proud to support the Taylor County Fair and give back to the community in a meaningful way. This year AbbyBank participated in the Fair’s Animal Market Sale and placed the winning bid on a swine.

The animal was then processed, resulting in a donation of 168 pounds of pork, which was gifted to Stepping Stones of Medford, a local nonprofit dedicated to providing free, confidential support services to victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

“Purchasing the swine not only supports our local youth who work hard on their fair projects but also allows us to provide food security to local families through Stepping Stones,” said Sue Ackerman, VP Branch Manager at AbbyBank in Medford.
