Bright Future Checking

Free checking that is! Our Bright Future Checking is for kids, teens and everything in between. It's designed to grow with your child and encourage financial responsibility. This is a great option for middle and high school students¹.  Bright Future Checking is held jointly with an adult, giving independence for kids and control for parents. When your child turns 18, their Bright Future Checking account will automatically convert to an eChecking account² with all the same great features. 

There are no fees or minimum balance requirements. Plus, your child will get a $25 bonus³ that will be credited to the account after their first deposit. As a joint owner, adults have full access to the account to monitor spending and debit card activity with card controls. Through online and mobile banking, you and your child have access to transfer funds, pay people or bills, check balances and so much more. 

         

Adults can transfer funds directly from their account into the Bright Future Checking account. Online and mobile banking makes it easy for parents to see where money is spent, create alerts, set limits and turn their child's card on and off with just a swipe.
